I’m not sure about the “forced out” part, but her sentiment is shared by elected Democratic politicians in Chicago, Los Angeles, Portland, etc.
The criticisms from Democrats regarding DHS/BP/ICE/FBI operations are ones of kind, not degree. I don’t hear Democrats calling for kinder, gentler border enforcement, they are calling for no border enforcement.
I’ve heard of no alternative plan from Democrats, except to “dissolve the people, and elect another.”
At some point, Democrats will once again find themselves in full control of federal government. It will happen, sooner or later.
I am convinced that when they do, they will end DHS/BP/ICE altogether and fully open the borders to all comers. Next time, it won’t be 10 million or 20 million coming across, it will be 50 million or 100 million.
And there is no return from that point.
