Bev Turner has said that Charlie Kirk’s funeral could be postponed until after Donald Trump has visited King Charles in the UK next week.
Speaking on GB News about the fatal shooting, the host said: “He was part of the Republican Conservative family here in Washington, D.C., and his funeral, we do not know when that will happen at the moment, will effectively be like a state event.
“Donald Trump comes over to the UK next week to see King Charles. And so I wouldn’t be surprised if the funeral of Charlie Kirk would be postponed, actually, until that visit, because the whole Trump family will be in attendance.
“He was effectively an honorary member of that family. Donald Trump was the one that announced his departure, his passing last night.”
Mr Kirk was shot in the neck while speaking at a student event at Utah Valley University. He was rushed to a hospital and later died.
