(LifeSiteNews) — On September 8 the French government collapsed, with the coalition led by Francois Bayrou losing a vote of confidence.
The widely predicted fall of France’s seventh prime minister under Emmanuel Macron has now been followed by nationwide direct action – to get rid of the president as well.
“On September 10 we block everything,” reads one poster for the day of action.

Picturing the departing Prime Minister Bayrou with the liberal globalist President Macron, it adds, “One fall can lead to another.”
Bayrou is the second French prime minister to resign in a year.
The French taking to the streets is not unusual – but what is unusual here is the widespread support for the economic shutdown of the country.
As Franceinfo reports, schools are blockaded, whilst Le Parisien shows footage of roadblocks, fires and masked protesters in cities across the nation.
One leading campaign calls to block everything in order to halt the welfare cuts proposed by Bayrou, asking for “solidarity” in peaceful actions.

France is mired in a deepening economic crisis, which has seen the liberal coalition move to cut social welfare benefits. This economic crisis, boosted by lockdowns and magnified by economic sanctions on Europe’s only cheap source of oil and gas, has fueled the flames of outrage at a government which seems to serve itself, at the expense of the French people.
The spokesman for the right-populist National Rally (RN), Julien Odoul, warns that that the “initially spontaneous” movement of “Block Everything” is now being “co-opted” by the Marxist leader Jean-Luc Melenchon.

So does this mean that this is simply an outbreak of organized chaos – by the usual suspects on the Left?
A survey published by Economie Matin says no. It shows half of the French population supports the move to “block everything” – in order to halt the French economy and get rid of Macron.
It is a movement which appears to have united the French in a campaign to end the political paralysis created by its globalist liberal elite.
The fall of the political firewall?
In the last elections the party which won lost, and the losing parties won power. That was because the left and the liberals decided to lock the winning party out of power. The coalition that has just collapsed was arranged to prevent Marine Le Pen’s National Rally from entering the government. The RN, as it is known in French, is the most popular party in France – despite a court ruling banning Le Pen from standing in the 2027 presidential elections.

The moves were condemned by Donald Trump, as LifeSiteNews reported:
“The Witch Hunt against Marine Le Pen is another example of European Leftists using Lawfare to silence Free Speech, and censor their Political Opponent, this time going so far as to put that Opponent in prison.”
Abolish democracy – to defend it
This is the “cordon sanitaire” – or “health barricade” – in action. The lawfare and exclusion of the RN from power was erected to defend democracy. Liberal democracy must be defended from actual democracy, because so many people hate liberal policies that liberal parties of left and right can no longer win free elections.
The same tactic is used in Germany, where the hugely popular Alternative for Germany (AfD) is locked out of government by the “Brandmauer,” or “Firewall.” This is the name for the agreement between liberal parties to abolish democracy in order to save it – from itself.
That German coalition returned the losing parties back to power, to prevent the more popular one from providing an alternative to the politics of national suicide.
This has paralyzed the state in France and Germany, resulting in the widely-predicted collapse of the French government. The RN along with parties of the Left have called for fresh elections.

Here the vice president of Le Pen’s RN says, “The government has fallen. Elections now!”
Yet if winning means you lose, what is the point of elections at all? This is one major reason driving the national wave of direct action in France today.
Trains have been halted, motorways blocked, and announcements have been made that French people will also defy the law.
On September 8 – ahead of the vote which was expected to see the government fall – Marine Le Pen made a statement to the French Parliament.

She said that if there were fresh elections in which the French people gave her party a clear mandate, she would “go to Matignon” – where prime ministers are customarily installed – and take power regardless of the wishes of President Macron.
The fracturing of French democracy is obvious. In recent months, moves have been made by the liberal-globalist state to imprison Marine Le Pen. Similar moves to criminalize the AfD in Germany have been in the news for years.
What future is there for “liberal democracy” in Europe, when it must resort to the abolition of democracy to preserve itself? This is not democratic, of course – but demonizing and criminalizing any alternative to the global agenda is typical of liberals everywhere.
Liberal globalist elite seek digital lockdown
The crisis in France is the same crisis in every liberal state in the West. The globalist agenda of Net Zero, open borders, permanent war under the rainbow banner of Satan is being rejected. Having nothing else to offer beyond a death cult of consumer nihilism, the liberals are defending their “democracy” with censorship and propaganda.

In May 2024 the unelected EU chief Ursula von der Leyen announced a “European Democracy Shield” – a censorship programme to protect hundreds of millions of people from reality-based “misinformation.”
Liberals cannot understand why their utopian politics are so despised. They truly believe theirs is the wisest and most morally enlightened ideology of all, and see everyone who dislikes living in the hell on earth they have created as a hate-fueled extremist.
The nationwide day of action in France shows clearly that the liberal state is at war with the nation. Its every policy destroys the nation spiritually, morally and financially. Over a century ago Pope Leo XIII predicted that the worship of the false gods of modernism would lead countries into chaos.
Europe’s liberal elite is now fighting a rearguard action against its own peoples in order to preserve its grip on power. It can censor the news and can fix elections – but it cannot rig reality.
