Charlie KirkFeaturedIlhan Omar

All about Ilhan | Power Line

She just can’t help herself. From the New York Post,

Ilhan Omar cruelly stomps on Charlie Kirk’s legacy: ‘Full of s–t’.

The occasion was a recorded internet video interview. Quotes from the Post,

Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-Minn.) went on a cruel rant about murdered conservative activist Charlie Kirk, scoffing at the notion that his core mission was to have a civil debate on politics.

“There are a lot of people who are talking about him [Kirk] just wanting to have a civil debate,” Omar sneered to progressive outlet Zeteo. “These people are full of s— and it’s important for us to call them out while we feel anger and sadness”

Omar groused that the TurningPoint USA founder downplayed George Floyd and opposed Juneteenth.

Posting on Twitter (X), Omar denies…something.

Right-wing accounts trying to spin a false story when I condemned his murder multiple times is fitting for their agenda to villainize the left to hide from the fact that Donald Trump gins up hate on a daily basis.

Omar is like the Will Ferrell character (Ricky Bobby) in Talladega Nights (2006) who thinks preceding a string of slander using the words “with all due respect” gives him license to proceed with slander. Dialog from the movie,

Larry Dennit: “What did you just say to me?”

Ricky Bobby: “What? I said with all due respect!”

Dennit: “Just because you say that doesn’t mean you get to say whatever you want to say to me!”

Ricky: “It sure as hell does!”

Dennit: “No, it doesn’t–”

Ricky: “It’s in the Geneva Conventions, look it up!”

Just so. Omar “condemns all violence,” which she believes gives her license to immediately, in the same sentence, incite more violence.

As fate would have it, today is September 11, which prompted this post from Rep. Omar earlier in the day,

Today, we remember the thousands of lives lost and the heroic first responders in the largest terror attack on U.S. soil.

I will continue to fight to make sure we take care of our first responders and families who lost loved ones.

Now and forever we must #NeverForget.

Rich stuff coming from the same woman who dismissed 9/11 as “some people did something” during an infamous speech to CAIR in 2019 referencing the events of September 11, 2001.

As the maxim goes, hypocrisy is the tribute vice plays to virtue. Omar understands, at some level, that occasionally, such tributes are necessary in her line of work.

But they do not excuse her usual and constant production of vile, bitter, and nasty commentary aimed against the majority of America.
