Man Rams FBI Gate in Pittsburgh in Alleged ‘Act of Terror’ – RedState

A man allegedly drove a car into the gate at the offices of the FBI in Pittsburgh early Wednesday morning in what the Bureau is terming an “act of terror.”

The white Toyota, covered in profane messages, was plowed into the back entrance gate of the building on the Steel City’s south side around 2:40 a.m., with the driver getting out and hurling an American flag over the fence while shouting incoherently, according to CBS News.

Authorities said they were hunting Donald Henson, a former military man with a history of mental health issues.

“We look at this as an act of terror against the FBI,” said FBI Pittsburgh Assistant Special Agent In Charge Christopher Giordano said.

Giordano called it a “targeted attack.”

A witness said that the man walked away as though nothing had happened.

As you can see, the gate must have been hit pretty hard – it’s taken off its hinges.

A manhunt was underway as the FBI asked the public for help in finding the suspect.

The spokesperson indicated that Henson had reported an issue to the FBI in the past, but they told him it wasn’t a federal issue.

Now Fox is reporting that the suspect is in custody.

They haven’t clarified what the messages were on the car yet or what the motive might be. RedState will bring you updates as warranted.
