By which I mean the motive is blindingly obvious. ABC 10 (Sacramento) confirms what we always knew was true,
Facebook and ‘X’ accounts matching the suspect’s name and picture posted frequently, criticizing the Trump administration. In the past week, posts on X were daily.
A post on X in July, read in part, quote: “The authoritarian oligarchy is now complete…” and “Rules don’t apply if election was stolen. FIGHT!”
The suspect, Anibal Hernandez-Santana, was originally arrested by local police on Friday night.
Sacramento Police announced Hernandez Santana’s arrest early Saturday. Hernandez Santana’s local charges include assault with a deadly weapon, shooting into an occupied building, and negligent discharge of a firearm, police said.
According to the Sacramento County Sheriff’s Office, Hernandez Santana posted bail later in the day and was released.
His release required the Feds to take action,

Jimmy Kimmel and Disney Working to Reach Compromise to Bring His Show Back
Kimmel will be allowed to give a non-apology apology, something along the lines of he’s sorry that the wrong people correctly interpreted what he meant to say. He’ll be back on the air every night, trashing Trump and lying to his ever-dwindling audience, and the whole incident will soon be forgotten.
On a far more serious note, the New York Post reports,
Crazed gunman shouted ‘Free Palestine’ before opening fire and killing guest at Sky Meadow country club wedding: witnesses
The alleged gunman has been identified as Hunter Nadeau, age 23, and charged with firing into a crowd at New Hampshire wedding reception.
The Post describes Nadeau as “crazy” and a “maniac.” I, too, cannot imagine committing such an act. But why assume that Nadeau is insane? Everyone wants to immediately arrive at a rational reason why the otherwise inexplicable occurs. What is the “motive”?
I guess we’ll never know.
