Democrat Party Porn Performer Back In the News

One of the most remarkable political stories of 2023 was that of Susanna Gibson, a Democratic candidate for the Virginia legislature who financed her campaign in part by putting on live sex shows with her then-husband on the porn site Chaturbate. They titled their Chaturbate channel “HotWife Experience.” While they performed sex acts, Gibson would chat with some of her more than 5,770 Chaturbate followers. They would offer Gibson money (“tips”) to engage in further sex acts. We wrote about Gibson’s unorthodox campaign here and elsewhere. This is a still from one of her commercial sex videos:

You might think that engaging in live sex shows for money would disqualify a person from elective office, but no. The most remarkable thing about the Susanna Gibson story is that she almost won, losing her race by fewer than 1,000 votes. So hardly any Democrats mind being represented by paid sex performers.

Gibson is in the news again for a series of incidents between her and her soon to be ex-husband. (Shockingly, jointly running a Chaturbate channel did not prove to be a recipe for long-term marital bliss.)

Susanna Gibson Payne, 42, was arrested in Henrico County on Sept. 22 for “assault and battery – family member.” She was released after turning herself in.

But Payne told The Post that her lawyer husband, 44-year-old John David Gibson, has been harassing her since she filed for divorce last year, and claimed he was the one who got aggressive with her during a squabble back in June.

“After my estranged husband, arrested three times since I filed for divorce, assaulted me during a June 2025 custody exchange while I protected our son, he filed a retaliatory criminal complaint against me,” Payne said.

The husband tells a different story, beginning with an altercation he says he had with Susanna’s new boyfriend.

The story has another sequel that typifies how celebrities come back from scandals. Back in 2023, Gibson lied about her Chaturbate channel, pretending that her sex videos were private and they were underhandedly leaked to a Republican operative. Now she is making a career out of that falsehood:

She’s since dedicated herself to advocating against “gender-based and sexual violence” with the founding of MyOwn Image, an organization which seeks to update online privacy legislation. Payne believes laws have not kept pace with the digital age.

“I would say I’ve fundamentally changed as a human, as a professional,” she told Politico after the scandal. “A political operative found sexually explicit videos of a young woman running for office that she never knew existed … and shopped them around to various news outlets, trying to get them published to humiliate, intimidate, coerce, harass this woman.”

Far from “never knowing they existed,” Gibson chatted on video with some of the thousands of men who paid for subscriptions to her porn channel, urging them to “tip” her in return for yet more sex acts. I titled the post linked above “They Don’t Embarrass Easy,” but that was an understatement. They are completely shameless.
