WASHINGTON, D.C. (LifeSiteNews) – U.S. President Donald Trump did not hold back during an in-person meeting with Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney today, openly blasting the “woke” extreme transgender ideology of men in women’s sports and genital mutilation surgery of minors.
“We have no men’s and women’s sports. I mean, basic things. We’re not going to take your child away and change the sex of your child,” he told Carney in the White House.
Trump then doubled down, telling the Canadian PM, “We’re not going to do things like that. What they’re doing to the country is so incredible. And they got away with it, with all their woke crap, and now it’s stopped. And we have a country that’s based on common sense and strength and intelligence.”
As reported by LifeSiteNews, Carney has a daughter who identifies as transgender. Canada’s Liberal federal government under former Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and now Carney has spent billions promoting the LGBT agenda.
Carney was in Washington for trade talks with Trump. After the meeting, Carney claimed that he wants Canada to invest $1 trillion in the United States over the next few years if a trade deal can be reached.
Trump has wanted to slap huge tariffs on Canadian goods in the past and has routinely suggested that Canada become an American state, often making such statements while talking about or implementing trade tariffs on Canadian goods.
At the June G7 leaders meeting in the Kananaskis area in Alberta, Carney praised Trump’s world “leadership” despite saying many negative things about him during his election campaign.
Evidence shows that persons who undergo so-called “gender transitioning” procedures are more likely to commit suicide than those who are not given such irreversible surgeries. In addition to catering to a false reality that one’s sex can be changed, transgender surgeries and drugs have been linked to permanent physical and psychological damage, including cardiovascular diseases, loss of bone density, cancer, strokes and blood clots, and infertility.
Meanwhile, a study on the side effects of “sex change” surgeries discovered that 81 percent of those who have undergone them in the past five years reported experiencing pain simply from normal movements in the weeks and months that followed, among many other negative side effects.
