When they aren’t being demonic, our liberal friends are busy making fools of themselves. Thus, many of them wore costumes to Saturday’s “No Kings” protests. You might wonder, why? Because organizers of the events encouraged them to do so, apparently in an effort to soften the Democrats’ image as the party that shoots its political adversaries. They were told to wave American flags, too.
The results were unintentionally comic:
We learn via InstaPundit that a 61-year-old Alabama woman went too far. Her costume was a male unit (“No dick-tator”), and she was arrested for lewd and lascivious conduct and disturbing the peace:
I don’t know. To me it looks more like a toadstool, but I suppose she was drawing on her own experience. I expect the judge will conclude that she has suffered enough humiliation, and will let her off.
