Halloween has arrived at Greggs, and the bakery chain is celebrating with a collection of seasonal treats designed to provide some spooky fun.
The high street favourite has rolled out three festive offerings, including a cheerful Pumpkin Biscuit and decorated Spooky Buns to mark the occasion.
“Trick or treat? At Greggs, the answer is obvious,” the company stated. “Our shelves are haunted with the tastiest and spookiest sweet treats ready to get your heart racing and mouth watering.”
The limited-edition products have been created specially for the Halloween period, set to “make spooky season sweeter”.
The star of the show is the Pumpkin Biscuit, featuring a ginger base covered in Fairtrade milk chocolate.
Hailing it as “the perfect companion to horror film frights”, Greggs promised customers a delectable cacao concoction.
“It only takes one bite of this ginger biscuit coated in Fairtrade milk chocolate to feel the tingles creeping in,” the chain said.

The Spooky Buns offer another festive option. These vanilla-flavoured fairy cakes come topped with fondant icing, colourful sprinkles, and sugar paste decorations.
“A sure-fire way to send shivers down your spine is with our Spooky Buns,” the bakery said.
Customers can choose individual buns or grab a pack of four – perfect for a ghoulish gathering.

PATo complete the Halloween range, Greggs has brought back the Pumpkin Spice Latte.
“It wouldn’t be pumpkin season without a Pumpkin Spice Latte,” Greggs noted, nodding to the seasonal staple.
The autumn drink can be enjoyed either hot or served over ice for those who prefer a cooler option.
The combination of the spiced latte with the Halloween biscuits and buns creates a full seasonal experience for customers looking to embrace the spooky spirit at their local Greggs.
Keen to snap it up ahead of Halloweekend? “Tuck in (if you dare) via Click + Collect or welcome the haunts into your home with Just Eat or Uber Eats,” the bakery advised.
Another food giant celebrating the haunting holiday is Burger King, with the chain announcing a limited-time menu promising “ultimate satisfaction”.
Ahead of October 31, the chain has recreated the “spookiest” concoctions in Burger King history.
Three “weird, wonderful, and genuinely freaky” burger creations requested by customers will officially grace the menu for a limited time.
