A group of Marines did something rarely seen when they dwarfed President Donald Trump during a round of Oorahs with the president on Veterans Day.
During The Pat McAfee Show on Tuesday, live from the Marine Corps Recruit Depot Parris Island, South Carolina, McAfee welcomed President Donald Trump, who called in to talk a little football and about how he planned to honor those who have served our country on Veterans Day.

“To me, it means taking care of the veterans because they’ve taken care of us… What I think of with the veterans is, ‘How do I take care of the veterans?'” Trump explained what the day means to him. “We’ve done a really good job.”
“To me, the vets, they’ve done their job,” he added. “They’ve been fantastic. They’re incredible people. They also voted for me about 92 percent, so we have to remember that. They’re just spectacular people; they don’t want much. And they gave so much.”
McAfee shouted “Oorah!” and the group of new Marines sitting close to the set joined in. They sounded great.

It was then that the host asked Trump if he had ever done an oorah! to a bunch of Marines. Trump, who is never one to shy away from something, recognized he could not do one that would give it nearly the same justice, but he decided to give it a try regardless.
He was followed by the Marines, who absolutely put the President’s to shame.
A short time later in the interview, Trump gave a second oorah. I’m just being honest here; he’s going to need some work at this. It was followed by the Marines, who rocked it.

Luckily, by the third and final attempt the President seemed to hit his stride, and his oorah! with the Marines was pretty epic!
“You want me to do another one? I’ll do another one!” Trump said, before he let it go.
At one point in the show, the host shut down critics who might be upset he gave Trump the opportunity to come on his show.

“I would like to say, though, for the immediate people that are going to be mad. It’s the President of the United States. It’s Veterans Day. He’s the Commander-in-Chief,” McAfee explained. “Obviously, if we have the opportunity to talk to him, we’re going to. And he is hilarious.”
