This is what we voted for: Immigration & Customs Enforcement (ICE) has arrested a Moldovan woman, Victoria Sorocean, who was convicted of murder in her native country and fled to the United States to escape a prison sentence. Her crime in Moldova was particularly brutal, but that didn’t stop the Biden administration from releasing her into the United States.
The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) has announced the arrest of a Moldovan illegal immigrant and convicted killer who tortured and threw a victim out of a ninth-floor window.
Victoria Sorocean was taken into custody in Los Angeles on Nov. 4 by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) after authorities learned she had been convicted of premeditated murder with exceptional cruelty in 2013, ICE told Fox News on Tuesday.
According to DHS, Sorocean and an accomplice tortured their victim inside an apartment in Chisinau, Moldova, beating the person with a stick and electrical cable before throwing the victim out a ninth-floor window.
Here’s the part that should have every American enraged; remember, this is a convicted murderer:
She was sentenced to 17 years in prison but fled the country to avoid serving her sentence.
Sorocean was first arrested by ICE on Jan. 10, 2020, under the first Trump administration, but she later filed multiple legal appeals and asylum claims to delay removal, DHS said.
Officials said she was ultimately released back into the U.S. in 2022 under the Biden administration.
So, to summarize, she tried to stay in the USA by filing bogus asylum claims – convicted murderer, remember? And then the Biden administration, in 2022, just… Let her go.

Did I mention she was a convicted murderer? Not just a murderer; along with her accomplice, she first tortured, then murdered her victim.
And given the opportunity, the useful idiots of Antifa and the aging hippies we see at anti-ICE events would block the United States from giving Victoria Sorocean precisely the treatment she deserves, namely, to be returned to Moldova to face the music. It’s an utterly incomprehensible thing to anyone with a lick of sense that people will oppose the repatriation of any illegal alien, but a convicted criminal? She should have been returned to Moldova immediately on her arrest in 2020, and she should certainly have never just been casually tossed into the United States to run free.
Department of Homeland Security Assistant Secretary Tricia McLaughlin had a thing or two to say about this:
“It shocks the conscience that the Biden administration released into America a cruel, violent illegal alien who tortured a human being, beat them with an electrical cable and a stick and then threw her victim from a ninth-floor window,” DHS Assistant Secretary Tricia McLaughlin said in a statement.
“These are the types of barbaric criminal illegal aliens ICE is targeting every single day,” she added. “Seventy percent of all ICE arrests are of illegal aliens charged or convicted of a crime in the U.S.”
Victoria Sorocean is now in ICE custody and being processed for repatriation back to Moldova, where no doubt the authorities will be awaiting her when her flight lands. And all we can say of that is “good riddance.”
Did I mention she was a convicted murderer?
