The Met Office has issued a new yellow weather warning for rain. The alert will be in place for 24 hours, between 6am on Friday, November 14 and 6am on Saturday, November 15.
According to the National Weather Agency, heavy and prolonged rain during Friday into early Saturday could lead to some flooding and travel disruption. At present , there are several yellow warnings of rain issued for Wednesday, Friday and Saturday. On Wednesday, several parts of the UK could experience 15-25mm of rain causing an increased risk of flooding in a few areas.
