Sir Keir Starmer is a dead man walking.
Last week, news broke that newly elected Labour MPs met in secret to discuss how they could get rid of the Prime Minister.
Then last night, news broke that Downing Street thought Health Secretary Wes Streeting was launching a coup.
They also believed Shabana Mahmood, Ed Miliband and Angela Rayner wanted him out.

Apparently Wes Streeting had 50 Labour front bench MPs willing to resign if, or when, Rachel Reeves’ disaster Budget goes badly in two weeks’ time.
When it comes to Wes Streeting, he’s always been hiding in plain sight. In fact, last night a website appeared. It says: Wes For Leader – we’re with Wes.
Where did that come from? Wes denies he’s running for leader. The only downside for Wes is that it looks like he’s actually going to lose his seat at the next general election to one of the Gaza independents.
But he’s not the only one, there’s also a site for Rachel Reeves. Ready for Reeves – launching soon…Gosh, where could that have come from?
So Wes Streeting goes out on the morning media rounds this morning, and openly says Sir Keir Starmer has lost control of his Downing Street staff.
He even says Sir Keir Starmer should sack whoever was doing these briefings about leadership challenges.
Wes did his best to try to convince everyone that he’s on the PM’s side, but it didn’t convince many people.
Then the Prime Minister emerges from Downing Street today on his way to PMQs, where he was heckled by the press. And it didn’t get much better for him in the Commons either.
The latest polling suggests Labour could lose around 295 seats if a General Election was held tomorrow, and Sir Keir Starmer might even lose his own seat.
The last 24 hours have shown that Sir Keir Starmer can’t run his own office, he can’t manage his own party. How on earth can he run the country?
