An independent travel agent in Alresford, Hampshire, has announced its closure, with its office already up for sale. New Era Travel in Alresford, Hampshire which opened in 2022 has gone into liquidation, it has been reported.
The independent travel agency, which once offered exclusive coach tours from towns including Alresford, Fareham, and Wickham, has announced its closure after going into liquidation. The office has shut its doors, and a note displayed outside explains the circumstances behind the decision.
The note says: “With deep regret, we must inform you that New Era Travel has ceased trading and is in the process of liquidation. We want to express our sincerest gratitude to every customer who has supported us over the years. It has been a privilege helping you plan your adventure.
“We are pleased to confirm that all ABTA-protected travel bookings (packages, flights, cruises and holidays) will proceed as planned.”
