As RedState reported, Jack Schlossberg, the grandson of former President John F. Kennedy, announced a run for Congress this week amid the end of the Schumer Shutdown, which saw eight Senate Democrats and six House Democrats break ranks to vote with Republicans to get the government running again.
“Jack here with an exciting update .. we are OFFICIALLY launching Jack for New York TOMORROW, November 12 !!” a campaign launch email read. “We’ve been working so hard over here and cannot wait to kick the campaign into high gear.”
Schlossberg is running for the seat currently held by Democrat Rep. Jerry Nadler (NY-12), who announced in September that he would not be seeking another term in 2026 after serving for over three decades.
FLASHBACK: The Bitter Nadler-Maloney House Battle Takes an Even Uglier Turn on Primary Day
The son of Caroline Kennedy is known in part for being a Very Online Leftist internet troll who likes to make fun of family members whom he doesn’t like, namely his cousin, Robert F. Kennedy Jr., who serves as the Health and Human Services Secretary under President Donald Trump. Schlossberg has mocked Kennedy’s accent, called him “dangerous,” and even despicably made fun of his spasmodic dysphonia in one notorious video clip.

It’s always nice to see the “tolerant” left show just how intolerant they are to people they disagree with.

He deleted his social media accounts in February after increasing scrutiny and criticism, only to return a couple of weeks later because apparently he thought the world couldn’t do without his “edgy” commentary.
As one might imagine, however, Schlossberg running for higher office has once again had internet sleuths digging for things he might have deleted. In one instance, a video of Schlossberg performing a Nazi salute was found:
Schlossberg posted the video—since scrubbed from his social media—in January, likely intending to mock Elon Musk. The billionaire was the subject of controversy that same month when critics accused him of making a Nazi salute while telling an audience, “My heart goes out to you” during a rally celebrating President Donald Trump’s return to the White House.

Quite frankly, it’s hard to figure out what’s more pathetic: Schlossberg’s deranged video rants or the fact that at 32 years old, this is the extent of his work experience:
Schlossberg holds degrees from Harvard and Yale universities, but his professional experience is comparatively thin. Both a job as a staff assistant in the State Department and as political correspondent at Vogue lasted just one month, according to his LinkedIn page. His longest-held position was 10 years as the John F. Kennedy Library Foundation’s New Frontier Award chairman, a job he likely received through familial connections.
As much of a clown and lightweight as this guy is, I wouldn’t put it past NYC voters to put him in office, if recent history is a reliable indicator. Plus, it’s not like members of the Kennedy family haven’t been elected and reelected to office after doing worse, much worse.
