McDonald’s diner dies after sudden ‘medical emergency’ at restaurant | UK | News

A man has died after having medical difficulties in a McDonald’s restaurant in England on Monday evening. Emergency services were seen rushing into the fast food franchise on Eccleshall Road in Stafford at around 6.20pm.

West Midlands Ambulance Service confirmed they sent a huge response, including an ambulance, two paramedic officers and a critical care paramedic after getting a call to the “medical emergency”. Police were also reported to have attended the scene, but have not yet released a statement on Monday’s incident at the location in the Stafford Trade Centre.

The McDonald’s itself is also yet to comment on the incident; however, a spokesman from the ambulance service revealed to Stoke on Trent Live that they found the man in a “critical condition”.

They added: “We were called to reports of a medical emergency. Crews arrived to find a man in a critical condition and administered advanced life support.

“Sadly, nothing could be done to save the man, and he was confirmed dead at the scene a short time later.”
