Ever since Power Line attracted its first few readers, I have awoken in the early morning hours to catch up on the news and work on the site. Thinking about what I might write has become a disturbance in my sleep.
Since I began work this morning, we have been offline because of an issue with our host down in Texas. We have been extinguished by a server error and returned to life at least three times. I don’t know if we’re back for good today, but here’s hoping.
As Minnesota Vikings head coach Kevin O’Connell might say, the outages threw off my mechanics. However, the same issue also affected InstaPundit, so we’re not taking it personally. Indeed, if it was a DDOS attack targeted at the two sites, we might take it as a backhanded compliment. I would have to check with John (on vacation) for his view.
