Melania Trump issues hair-raising warning over latest WW3 threat | US | News

The First Lady addressed the changing nature of conflict, emphasising how AI is positioned to become a crucial instrument of modern warfare during her speech at the East Coast’s largest Marine Corps installation.

Addressing the audience, First Lady Melania Trump stated, “Technology is changing the art of war. Predictably, AI will alter war more profoundly than any technology since nuclear weapons. The most significant change will be speed, speed in weaponry, decision making, detection, attack, and defense.

“Artificial intelligence will take center stage in the theater of war. It already plays a meaningful role on the battlefield. Of course, it is the Marine who will always play the most critical role in realizing mission success. Technology is changing the art of war,” added Trump.

Mrs Trump went on to say, “We are moving from human operators to human overseers fast. The shift from soldiers to machines is already underway.”

America urged: Be Best

On Wednesday, Melania Trump and Usha Vance made their first joint visit to North Carolina military personnel and their families, expressing appreciation for their commitment and service ahead of the festive period, reports the Express US.

The First and Second Ladies toured two reception classrooms and one Year 1 classroom at DeLalio Elementary School, which supports the Camp Lejeune community.

Upon entering each classroom, they found every pupil’s desk prepared with resources from Be Best, Mrs Trump’s youth-focused initiative.

The packets contained a puzzle, a pen, and a sticker for each child. Trump was seen happily engaging with the students, even sharing a hug with one.

Melania shows she is ‘military-connected’

She asked another student a question and exclaimed, “‘Isn’t it fun?” She also had a lengthy conversation with another girl, complimenting her by saying, “Very nice. I love your story.”

Later, she sat at tables with the youngsters and encouraged them to, “Show me how you play.”

The day’s agenda included joint appearances with military-connected students and speeches from both women to a gathering of service members and their families, as per Trump’s office.
