In connection with President Trump’s withdrawal of temporary protected status from Somali residents, Chris Rufo announces that he “broke the Somali fraud story” in the City Journal column I wrote about yesterday (“Thank you for your attention to this matter”). That may be a slight exaggeration verging on braggadocio, but it’s in the service of a good cause with a public purpose. In any event, Rufo has drawn the previously unfixed attention of government officials including the president to the matter.
We broke the Somali fraud story and called on President Trump to revoke the Temporary Protected Status for all Somalis. Now, the President has delivered.

Now we need to sic Rufo on the case of Minnesota Fifth District Rep. Ilhan Omar. I hear that Omar is herself the beneficiary of immigration fraud as well as the perpetrator of marital fraud for the purpose of abetting immigration fraud. That would be a great story to break. Chris, you can do it!
