FBI Director Kash Patel praised the agency and local partners in Atlanta for a massive meth seizure operation in Georgia, which resulted in removing more than a thousand pounds of the lethal drug from the streets.
In an X post on Monday, Patel wrote about the operation that resulted in finding hundreds of kilos of meth in Atlanta and Hall County inside shipments of blackberry electronic devices.

The FBI & our partners have shut down a major meth trafficking operation in North Georgia, seizing over 3,200 kilograms of methamphetamine hidden in boxes of jalapeños from Mexico. Twelve defendants now face federal charges as part of Operation Take Back America.
This successful operation highlights the power of law enforcement collaboration in dismantling dangerous drug networks and protecting our communities.
President Donald Trump’s administration is taking the war on drugs seriously, as evidenced by a recent announcement by Patel regarding a historic deal with China to stop the flow of the lethal Fentanyl drug into the U.S. and the numerous lethal kinetic strikes on suspected drug-smuggling boats in the eastern Pacific, as my RedState colleague Ward Clark reported.
