Bridgerton star Genevieve Chenneour tells Bev Turner of her SECOND mugging ordeal in London

Bridgerton star Genevieve Chenneour has opened up to GB News’ Bev Turner about her second mugging ordeal in London.

Speaking on The Late Show Live, Ms Chenneour revealed how she was attacked on the way to an audition in the capital when she was thrown against a wall by a thug.

“I didn’t have any jewellery on show, nothing,” she said. “I was walking and there was a wall to one side and then two people to my other side.”

She continued: “As I was passing them, I was in it between these two… I couldn’t move either way.

“There was a man and he looked at me – and the moment he looked at me, I thought something was really off.

“He was walking towards me very aggressively. I tried to move out of the way. I just couldn’t move out of the way. And then he just walked into me with full force, bracing his arms and hitting me.”

“It was just so shocking,” she added. “I just couldn’t believe that it happened and I was so shaken by the whole experience.”

Ms Chenneour, also a former Team GB athlete, told Britain’s News Channel how she was left “overwhelmed” by how hundreds of women had come forward to tell her their stories about their own crime experiences in London.
