My colleague Rusty Weiss reported on the troubling remarks of Sen. Ruben Gallego (D-AZ) regarding the video by six of his Democratic congressional colleagues and the news that the Department of War was reviewing Arizona Sen. Mark Kelly’s part in the video.
Gallego then made disturbing remarks about the members of the military who might be reviewing the matter.
“Donald Trump is going to be gone in a couple of years,” he said. “And if you’re part of the military that is going after sitting senators, sitting members of Congress, and part of the weaponization of government, there will be consequences, without a doubt.”
Yikes. Talk about trying to put your thumb on the scale and interfere in the matter. What does he think that is? That is effectively trying to influence the inquiry and saying explicitly that military members will face “consequences.” That’s not looking out for the military. He thinks he covers himself with a fig leaf by saying they should follow the Constitution and they’ll be fine.
Mark Kelly Makes a Damning Admission When Asked Specifically About ‘Illegal Orders’
But that wasn’t all Gallego revealed. Turns out he was supposed to be involved in the video, according to what Galllego told CNN’s Kasie Hunt. He explained what happened “by the time the script got to me.” Yeah, he admitted there was a script.
🚨 BREAKING: Conservatives are calling for ALL communications to be subpoenaed, after Sen. Ruben Gallego reveals a SEDITIOUS “SCRIPT” went out for the infamous video calling for the troops to rebel against President Trump.

Hunt laughed at him when he said he didn’t have time to record it by the time he got it, that life happens, so he couldn’t do it, but that he was 100 percent aligned with the video. That is not funny. I’m not sure why Hunt was laughing her head off there. It says a lot about her that she thinks that’s funny. And it says a lot about him, and none of it is good, for endorsing the actions in the video.
It also raises some other questions. What first video is he talking about? What was in that? Who was actually behind the “illegal orders” video? Who wrote up the script and sent it to people? How many people was this sent to, and who else were they trying to include in this?
When we talk about Democrats being theater kids, it’s something when they actually admit to having a “script.” And Gallego seemingly doesn’t even realize what he’s saying when he says that. Not the brightest move. Thanks, Ruben, for letting us know.
The FBI was reportedly contacting the Capitol Police to schedule interviews with the members of Congress who participated in the infamous video and to determine if there was any wrongdoing. They may want to ask some of those questions I noted above to get to the bottom of this.
