Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have been praised by fans for allowing bringing their children with them on a visit for their Archewell Foundation. The couple were joined by Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet as they appeared at Our Big Kitchen in Los Angeles, a community run, non-denominational kitchen that prepares meals for those in need throughout Los Angeles.
Archie, six, and Lilibet, four, who were both sporting hats with the Our Big Kitchen logo, were pictured getting stuck in by helping to prepare meals. Meghan and Harry both appeared in high spirits, clearly delighted to have their children with them for their visit.
After seeing pictures from the visit on Meghan’s Instagram story, which included a few of her children, fans took to social media to express their delight that Archie and Lilibet joined their parents.
Posted on X, one fan commented: “I love that Archie and Lili are growing up with the biggest gift we can ask for. The gift of choice. Their lives are not predetermined and pigeon holed like their dad’s. One isn’t being disparaged to prop the other. Both will be able to walk through life choosing their own path.”
Another shared that they were “volunteering as a family and just doing what they do to put some good out in the world”.
A third added: “Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet are volunteering for the holidays! #showupdogood.”
Also agreeing, another added: “Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet are raised so well by their amazing parents [pink-heart emoji] [purple-heart emoji] the whole Sussex Royal Family volunteering for thanks giving! [watery-eyed emoji] [purple-heart emoji].”
A fifth fan also added: “Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan are teaching Prince Archie & Princess Lilibet the meaning of giving back to community to help others. Happy Thanksgiving Sussexes!”
Meghan and Harry set up the Archewell Foundation in 2020, shortly after stepping down as senior working royals.
The couple currently reside in Montecito, California with Archie and Lilibet.
