Ukraine warned to ‘prepare and stock up’ for Putin’s 500-drone terror | World | News

Russia is preparing another massive drone and missile attack on Ukraine, according to a pro-Kyiv military blogger. It comes amid US reports that the Kremlin is stockpiling ballistic missiles, as production at Russian armament factories accelerates.

Ukraine has been battered by Russian aerial bombardments, that have killed thousands of civilians and caused extensive damage to cities and towns across the country. The frequency and intensity of the attacks has increased over the summer and into the autumn, as the Kremlin tries to break public morale and support for the war. Russia has targeted Ukraine’s civilian infrastructure, as well as energy grid that supplies electricity and heating.

A Ukrainian military blogger has issued a new warning of another imminent attack by Putin’s army.

The new assault is likely to involve up to 500 drones, as well as cruise and ballistic missiles.

In a post to the Telegram, the “eradar” channel wrote: “The enemy has begun (and most likely will complete today) preparations to launch a massive missile and drone strike on the territory of Ukraine.

For the upcoming strike, the enemy plans to involve: 4 Tu-95MS from the Engels/Olenya airfield; 3 Tu-160 from the Ukrainka airfield, as was the case in the previous attack, flying from the Far East directly to the launch sites.

“6 Tu-22M3 from the Olenya airfield; 6 MiG-31K from the Savasleyka airfield. Up to 500 strike UAVs. Ballistic missiles – Kalibrs from 3 naval carriers.”

“Looking at the diverse range of weapons the enemy plans to use in the attack, it can be concluded that the strike will target several objects simultaneously in different parts of our country.

“Likely, the enemy will use cruise missiles from Tu-95 and naval carriers to strike targets in the western part of the country, and missiles from Tu-22M3 aircraft and ballistic missiles to strike the capital and its region.

“Regarding the timing – the warning is valid for the next 72 hours (3 days).”

Meanwhile, Vladimir Putin doubled-down on his demand that Ukraine must retreat from the Donbas, during a trip to Kyrgyzstan.
