There has been a crash on the M25 anti-clockwise between J8 and J7, sparking delays of one hour.
The event is expected to clear between 1.15pm and 1.30pm, Traffic England said.
Normal traffic conditions are expected between 2.15pm and 2.30pm, it added.
One lane is also closed on the M25 anti-clockwise exit slip at J9 because of the collision.
