Happiest Headline Ever?

Well, that is an exaggeration. But still: light a cigar, pour yourself a glass of wine, have a seat and enjoy it. From the New York Times:

The Times article consists almost entirely of huffing and puffing, but this is the actual news:

The plan announced on Wednesday would require automakers to achieve an average of 34.5 miles per gallon for cars and light trucks in model year 2031, down from the standard of 50.4 miles per gallon set by the Biden administration.

The 50.4 mpg standard could be achieved only by selling enormous numbers of electric vehicles, for which there is no demand. So basically, Trump’s action revokes Biden’s EV mandate. It will save an estimated $1,000 per vehicle sold.

Once again, Trump voters are getting what they voted for, and the left-wing press is shocked.
