The White House Rapid Response account has posted the clip below from Minnesota Fifth District Rep. Ilhan Omar’s interview with her fan Esme Murphy on CBS Minnesota yesterday. Murphy began this hard-hitting interview with her characteristic fangirl approach to Democrats, striking her usual tone with her first question: “I do want to ask first of all, how are you and what is it like being the focus of a president’s ire repeatedly over and over again?” Hey, Esme, skip to the easy questions!
In the clip, Omar addresses the facts that President Trump has garbled every time he speaks about Omar’s immigration history. However, Trump gets the big picture right. When it comes to Somali fraud, Ilhan Omar is Exhibit A.

As she salutes herself in the clip, Omar appears to me to chuckle uncomfortably. Is it discomfort with what appears to be projection regarding the issue of “embarrssment” or something more? Despite her best efforts to conceal the facts, I have them straight in this past Friday’s Free Beacon column Yes, Ilhan Omar married her brother.”
Speaking of embarrassment, I would like to point out that CBS Minnesota is an embarrassment. Murphy is an embarrassment. Omar is an embarrassment.
