Prince George gets new two-word nickname after milestone outing | Royal | News

Prince George has been given a new two-word nickname after his latest public outing. The young prince, who is second-in-line to the throne, accompanied his dad Prince William to The Passage to volunteer last week as the charity prepared to serve its annual Christmas lunch.

The prince’s visit to the homeless shelter was very poignant, with Prince William, 43, having also started visiting the charity himself as a young boy with his mother the late Princess Diana. While George is only 12, he was highly praised for his latest outing, which saw him learn more about the work The Passage does.

Among those who praised the young prince was Chief Executive of the charity Mick Clarke, who described George as a “lovely kid”.

Speaking to GB News after George and William’s visit on December 16, Mr Clarke said: “He [George] was very much like his dad actually. He just wanted to get stuck in and help.

“A lovely, a lovely kid is how I would describe him. He just seemed really interested in terms of the work we do.”

Mr Clarke also said that not only did George help get ready for the Christmas lunch, but he spent time talking to people who had been helped by the charity.

He said: “I think George was genuinely moved to experience the work that we do.”
