Drivers on the M5 near Bristol faced traffic chaos on Boxing Day following a crash. On December 26, an incident saw a vehicle crashing into a lamppost on the M5 Northbound exit slip road.
This collision prompted the arrival of emergency services to the scene and the temporary closure of the area. Following the incident and road closure, traffic started to build up in the area, with roads and traffic monitoring site Inrix saying: “Very slow traffic due to accident at J15 M4 J20 ( Almondsbury Interchange).”
