A massive fire has broken out at a popular funfair in seaside town. Emergency services have rushed to the scene in South Shields as they try and bring the flames under control.
The fire service has urged locals to “avoid the area” and close doors and windows as crews deal with the incident, believed to have unfolded at Ocean Beach Pleasure Park. The fire is believed to have erupted at Sea Road, where the amusement park is located. Dramatic videos show flames and a huge plume of smoke coming through the roof of the building.
