Shocking footage of a huge brawl outside Winter Wonderland shows men throwing each other to the ground near the family attraction. Two men can be seen throwing punches in front of a horrified crowd on Christmas Eve, before uniformed security officers came in to break up the fight.
Two groups of men appear to get involved in the fight while attendees run to get out of harm’s way, and a man dressed in black appears to be bleeding from his nose in the newly released footage. The groups were said to be known to one another, and a spokesperson said there was “no impact on wider site operations”.
A spokesperson for the attraction confirmed that no injuries were reported, and no arrests were made following the incident. They added that the incident occurred “outside the event footprint”.
The funfair has been marred with viral clips of brawls this year, after one clip showed a police officer pulling a taser on a suspect after a fight broke out in the Bavarian Village area.
The Winter Wonderland spokesperson said: “The safety of our visitors and staff is our top priority, and aggressive or threatening behaviour is not tolerated under any circumstances and is dealt with immediately by on-site security in coordination with the authorities.
“An incident occurred during egress from the site earlier this week involving a small group of individuals known to one another.
“The altercation took place outside the event footprint and was managed by on-site security in line with established procedures, with police support. There was no impact on wider site operations.”
They continued: “Hyde Park Winter Wonderland is a large-scale seasonal event, welcoming around three million visits over a six-week period. We work closely with the Metropolitan Police and relevant authorities throughout the event.
“No injuries were reported, and no arrests were made. As with all incidents, we continually review our processes and procedures to ensure appropriate measures are in place.”
