Meghan Markle could be set to release a book next year, according to former royal butler Grant Harrold. It has long been speculated that the 44-year-old could follow in Prince Harry’s footsteps and release her own tell-all memoir, but Mr Harrold has shared that he believes Meghan will follow her own path.
According to him, Meghan could release a recipe book or a book in accordance to her Netflix show, “With Love, Meghan”. The royal is gearing up for the end of an extremely busy year, which saw the release of two series of her show, as well as the launch of her lifestyle brand, “As Ever”.
Now, looking ahead to 2026, Mr Harrold said that he sees Meghan likely to stick to what she knows with her “new lifestyle branding”.
Speaking on behalf of AceOdds, Mr Harrold said: “I believe Meghan will write a book in 2026, however I don’t think it will be the memoir many of her fans are hoping for.
“While she’s led a really interesting life and has many stories to tell, I don’t think she will want to share them at this point. She’s shared her stories and experience in interviews, however I’m not sure we’ll see a longer, tell-all book.
“However I think we’ll likely see something that fits with her new lifestyle branding, maybe a cook book or a written version of her Netflix show sharing tips and tricks.”
Discussing the Royal Family, he added: “I think the Royal Family hope she continues her work in the lifestyle sphere. It’s what she’s passionate about and she’s made a real mark.
“Plus, it can’t really do much harm – and especially nothing like Harry did with his memoir.”
Meghan currently resides in the US with Harry and their children, Archie, six, and Lilibet, four.
