Malaga floods LIVE: Valencia and Marbella weather chaos as Spain hit by floods | World | News

Wild weather conditions will continue to subside across Spain in the coming days. Catastrophic red alerts have already been downgraded to orange or even yellow in some regions.

On Monday, regions of Andalusia, Balearic Islands, Castile and León, the Region of Murcia, and the Valencian Community all have current weather alerts issued.

The rest of the nation will follow suit as conditions continue to ease and weather alerts either evaporate entirely or downgrade to a low-risk yellow, according to AEMET data.

Come Tuesday, Castile and León, Catalonia, Estremadura, and Galicia will be the only regions still under weather warnings, with a weather notice issued for high winds for coastal parts of Emporda and Girona.

Conditions will lessen again by Wednesday, with only yellow weather alerts for mist expected to impact the province of Castile and León, and the Estremadura region. Both sit by the nation’s western border with Portugal.
