Dear friends, A critical bulwark against the culture of death in the U.S. is now under attack: President Trump has called on Republicans to be “flexible” on the Hyde Amendment, despite it saving an estimated 2 million babies from abortion since 1980 by preventing taxpayers money from being used to kill the unborn. The White House yesterday reaffirmed the Trump administration’s support for Hyde in the wake of the President’s comments, but we must be highly vigilant about defending the amendment and pushing back against any notion of diluting it.
