It is believed the reason is her children, Prince Archie, six, and Princess Lilibet, four, with Meghan reportedly wanting to come to the UK if her children make the trip.
The source told the Sunday Times: “I think she would come back with him [and the children].
“They love to do stuff as a family whenever they can, and when they do things as a couple philanthropically, they often do take the kids along privately.
“I can’t see a reason why he’d come over with the kids without her.”
As well as wanting to make family memories, it is believed Meghan may struggle if she does not visit the UK with Harry and the children as she does not like to be apart from them.
This is something she revealed in an episode of her Netflix show, With Love, Meghan, when she said: “The longest I went without being around our kids was almost three weeks. I was… not well.”
It is not yet known if Harry will be bringing Meghan, Archie and Lilibet with him to the UK when he visits this year.
It is believed this will be dependent on the outcome of his security review, with the duke having previously claimed the UK was too unsafe for his family to visit. This has been used as the reason behind Harry’s solo UK trips since 2022 – the year his wife and children last stepped foot in his home country.
