The New York Post reports on ICE’s efforts to enforce federal law in Minneapolis:
A woman was yanked out of her car by federal agents for allegedly impeding an immigration enforcement operation in Minnesota on Tuesday — less than a week after a mother of three was fatally shot.
Footage captured the chaotic scene that broke out when the unidentified driver positioned her car across lanes of traffic, seemingly blocking ICE vehicles from driving through during an anti-ICE protest in Minneapolis.
That is what Renee Good was doing. The difference is that this woman didn’t try to run over anyone.
Agents attempted to clear the streets of the screaming protesters when they walked up to the female driver, who appeared to be wedging agents between her vehicle and another car blocking the road.
The agents then smashed through the car’s passenger window.
“Go, go, go, go,” people yelled at the driver.
This is a video of the scene; as you can see, many of the protesters have their phones out, hoping to capture footage of an ICE agent doing something wrong:
These people aren’t protesting against law enforcement, they are actively impeding law enforcement. That is a crime, and as many as possible who are guilty of that crime should go to prison:
ICE ERO Acting Executive Associate Director Marcos Charles told Fox News that officials had arrested at least 60 protesters who had “impeded us or assaulted an officer.”
It’s a start, assuming that the courts follow through–always a problem. President Trump comments:
“Minnesota Democrats love the unrest that anarchists and professional agitators are causing,” the president said.
That is exactly correct. Governor Tim Walz, Mayor Jacob Frey and pretty much every other prominent Minnesota Democrat want chaos and are encouraging the lawbreaking. Why? Because they fear November’s elections. They are trying to change the subject from their own failures in office, of which the now-famous multi-billion dollar frauds are only one instance. Their only hope is to run, not on their record, but against the Trump administration.
So they are insurrectionists, openly trying to frustrate the enforcement of federal law. We have never seen anything like it; not since 1861, anyway.
