We are observing the “ICE out of Minnesota Day” strike in our very own way today. We are declaring our support of ICE in Minnesota and celebrating the arrest of certain supporters of the strike who might be otherwise engaged.
Attorney General Pam Bondi has come to town to oversee the arrest of rioters among the mob that assaulted the Sunday morning service at Saint Paul’s Cities Church this past Sunday morning. Ringleader Nekima Levy Armstrong self-identified in a pinned Facebook post that I included in “The perp this time.” Ms. Armstrong was first up in Bondi’s hit parade.
Armstrong was my colleague at the University of St. Thomas School of Law in Minneapolis when I taught legal writing there part-time as an adjunct professor. She departed in 2016 to pursue a career as a race hustler (“freedom fighter”) on a full-time basis. According to DHS Secretary Noem on X, Armstrong has been charged under 18 U.S.C. § 241 (“Conspiracy against rights”), which seems right on point to me. Levy’s Facebook post should be Exhibit A in the case against her.
Minutes ago at my direction, @HSI_HQ and @FBI agents executed an arrest in Minnesota.
So far, we have arrested Nekima Levy Armstrong, who allegedly played a key role in organizing the coordinated attack on Cities Church in St. Paul, Minnesota.
We will share more updates as they…

Next up was Chauntyll Allen. She is a member of the Saint Paul School Board. The Minnesota DFL — the state Democratic Party — supports Allen and decries her prosecution. The party seems to think her position in public office should afford her immunity, but it compounds the disgrace. The party doesn’t bother to make an argument. Their assertion falls under the rubric of ipse dixit.
According to Noem, she has been charged under the conspiracy statute as well. According to an AP story, she has also been charged under 18 U.S.C. § 248 (“Freedom of Access to Clinic Entrances”), of which section (a)(2) is applicable to the exercise of religious freedom at a place of worship. Noem’s X posts don’t mention that.
Chauntyll Louisa Allen is an elected school board member in St. Paul.
She spoke out against ICE when they started raiding our schools and kidnapping our children. Then you arrested her.
This isn’t law & order. This is authoritarianism. https://t.co/Mfuk5EsPdp

You can see why Bondi might have taken particular pleasure in announcing the arrest of William Kelly. He looks like he should be singing “Don’t Take Me Alive.” You know, the Steely Dan song where Donald Fagen deadpans “A man of my mind can do anything.” According to Noem, he is charged under the conspiracy statute as well.

I learn from Chuck Ross’s Washington Free Beacon story that Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey does not approve of the arrests. “This is a gross abuse of power,” Frey declared. “The federal government is picking and choosing who to investigate—going after protesters and not the person who shot and killed one of our neighbors,” he added, referring to Renee Good.
“Picking and choosing” isn’t an argument either. “Picking and choosing who to investigate” is the work of law enforcement. It’s not an argument. Frey wants “neighbor” to do the work of an argument, as in the Walz/Frey line that ICE is targeting our (criminal and illegal alien) “neighbors.”
