Whether you loathe the ground on which President Donald Trump walks or you think he’s the greatest president in the history of the United States, you have to admit: the guy is the most effective political troll in the history of the universe.
Not only has the Democrat Party and its equally-TDS-riddled sock-puppet media been affected with debilitating Trump Derangement Syndrome for more than ten years, but the 47th president is a master at twisting the rhetorical knife into his “enemies” like nobody’s business.
When the White House announced in mid-December that the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts would henceforth be named The Donald J. Trump and the John F. Kennedy Memorial Center for the Performing Arts, the Left predictably melted down in histrionic fits.
Turns Out Trump Wasn’t Done
Yep, it just got even better — or worse, depending on one’s political proclivities.
From screeching Democrat political figures to self-important musicians and actors, the boycott was on — hilariously so. But hoo-boy, little did they know what was about to come.
In a post to Truth Social on Sunday, Trump said the facility will close later this year — on the Fourth of July, no less (the nation’s 250th anniversary) — for a two-year period for major renovations, which the president described will result in a “new and spectacular entertainment complex.”
Oh, the humanity!
Here’s the president:
After a one year review of The Trump Kennedy Center, that has taken place with Contractors, Musical Experts, Art Institutions, and other Advisors and Consultants, deciding between either Construction with Closure and Re-Opening or, Partial Construction while continuing Entertainment Operations through a much longer period of time, working in and around the Performances, I have determined that The Trump Kennedy Center, if temporarily closed for Construction, Revitalization, and Complete Rebuilding, can be, without question, the finest Performing Arts Facility of its kind, anywhere in the World. In other words, if we don’t close, the quality of Construction will not be nearly as good, and the time to completion, because of interruptions with Audiences from the many Events using the Facility, will be much longer. The temporary closure will produce a much faster and higher quality result!
Based on these findings, and totally subject to Board approval, I have determined that the fastest way to bring The Trump Kennedy Center to the highest level of Success, Beauty, and Grandeur, is to cease Entertainment Operations for an approximately two year period of time, with a scheduled Grand Reopening that will rival and surpass anything that has taken place with respect to such a Facility before.
Therefore, The Trump Kennedy Center will close on July 4th, 2026, in honor of the 250th Anniversary of our Country, whereupon we will simultaneously begin Construction of the new and spectacular Entertainment Complex. Financing is completed, and fully in place! This important decision, based on input from many Highly Respected Experts, will take a tired, broken, and dilapidated Center, one that has been in bad condition, both financially and structurally for many years, and turn it into a World Class Bastion of Arts, Music, and Entertainment, far better than it has ever been before. America will be very proud of its new and beautiful Landmark for many generations to come. Thank you for your attention to this matter!

Given Trump’s prowess at, as he often says, “building beautiful buildings,” there’s little (zero) doubt that the renovated Center will be spectacular, leading Democrat heads to continue to explode even after the grand reopening.

While Trump said the needed funding for the renovation is already secured, low-information Democrat voters will no doubt howl at the moon about the “waste of taxpayers’ money” — which, incidentally, they have zero problem with redistributing for a multitude of left-wing causes.
Since returning to office, Trump has launched a series of projects aimed at redefining the appearance and character of the White House and other iconic Washington landmarks. When he announced the construction of a White House ballroom in late 2025, you would’ve thought — by listening to bewailing TDS loons — that democracy in America was doomed; only to give way to the oligarch that they were already certain Trump was to be! (Yawn.)
Next up, Trump’s proposed “Triumphal Arch” for Washington, D.C., is planned and heavily promoted, with construction potentially starting around March 2026, but it has not received final federal approvals.
The 250-foot-tall, privately-funded monument, also designed to commemorate the nation’s 250th anniversary, will likely be located across from the Lincoln Memorial in a traffic roundabout known as Memorial Circle.
And there we have it — Trump’s ingeniousness, that is.
Long after this president has left the scene — indeed, after the last TDS-riddled Democrat has drawn his or her last breath — Trump’s permanent mark on our nation’s capital will proudly stand as a testament to his presidency.
