It’s getting heated down in Texas, y’all. Not the weather, of course, but the infighting between Democrats vying for various public offices. The grievance Olympics are well underway in the Lone Star state, and it’s a race to the bottom.
The offended this time around is former Democrat Rep. Collin Allred, a former National Football League player who failed to unseat Republican Sen. Ted Cruz in 2024. Allred is also a former contender to take on GOP Sen. John Cornyn, who is up for reelection this year and is embroiled in a three-man primary battle against Texas Lt. Gov. Ken Paxton and Rep. Wesley Hunt (TX-38).
Whew, that sure is a lot of “former” designations for one man. Anyway, after exiting the Democrat Senate primary contest soon after Rep. Jasmine Crockett (TX-30) entered it, Allred decided to instead run for Texas’s newly redrawn 33rd Congressional District seat.

The offender, apparently, is James Talarico, a Democrat state representative who is in a close U.S. Senate primary battle against Crockett. Talarico says a lot of inane things – including saying that God is “nonbinary” and claiming atheists are more “Christ-like” than many Christians – but seems to have crossed a line, at least as far as Allred is concerned.
Allred was steaming mad when he took to social media Monday to excoriate Talarico for allegedly calling Allred a “mediocre black man.”
Hey 👋🏽 @jamestalarico — don’t come for me unless I send for you. pic.twitter.com/ryVA6irNWY

We’ll get to Allred’s screed in a moment, but here’s what a TikToker alleges Talarico said to her (apologies for the language):
Why the fuck would you say something like that to a Black woman, James Talarico? Yikes! 😳 pic.twitter.com/LlFtEPidJs

And here’s some of Allred’s response:
Morning, everybody. It’s cold out here, and I got some steam coming off my head ’cause I’m, you know, just finished my workout. Got some steam coming off my ears too. I understand that James Talarico had the temerity and the audacity to say to a Black woman that he had signed up to run against a mediocre Black man—meaning me—not a formidable, intelligent Black woman, meaning Jasmine Crockett.
The gist of Allred’s tirade, which seems to be based on second-hand information, is that Talarico is a racist and voters, therefore, need to vote for the black woman.
So with that being said, go vote for Jasmine Crockett. This man should not be our nominee for the United States Senate. I wasn’t gonna get involved in this race, but listen: don’t come for me unless I send for you, okay, James? And keep my name out of your mouth while you’re at it.
The Democrat infighting could not come at a better time for Republicans. As RedState’s Nick Arama reported Sunday, a weekend state election in Texas yielded less-than-optimal results for the GOP when a solid red seat was flipped blue, which could be a harbinger for the 2026 elections. A Democrat-themed circular firing squad is well-timed as the primary elections for both parties loom in just one month.
Recent polling shows Crockett in a virtual dead heat with Talarico, but earlier polls showed Talarico with a commanding lead over the congresswoman. We’ll soon know which results were correct, as primary day in Texas is March 3, 2026.
Editor’s Note: The Democrat Party has never been less popular as voters reject its globalist agenda.
