Four products sold through Amazon have been pulled from the marketplace after safety officials flagged them as dangerous to consumers.
The Office for Product Safety and Standards (OPSS) issued warnings about the items, which all came from China and posed “serious” risks ranging from electric shocks to choking hazards and potential fires.
Among the recalled goods are two lighting fixtures – the EIDISUNY Wall Lamp and the Immver Ceiling Light with Fan – along with a Doloowee Model Aircraft toy and an A/C Power Adaptor for laptops.
Local Authority Trading Standards notified regulators about each product, and Amazon has since removed all listings from its platform.

Both lighting products failed to meet the requirements of the Electrical Equipment (Safety) Regulations 2016, according to the safety reports published on January 30.
The EIDISUNY Wall Lamp, a 42cm gold LED fixture listed under model BN1061-2, poses a serious shock risk because its insulation could deteriorate over time, potentially making the entire unit live.
Meanwhile, the Immver Ceiling Light with Fan presents a high shock hazard due to transformer windings that touch each other, failing to maintain proper safety distances.

Regulators stopped both products at the border, with the ceiling fan unit destroyed entirely. Amazon has removed both listings from sale.

Safety officials found the button battery compartment wasn’t properly secured, making it far too easy for little ones to access.
If swallowed, these small batteries could lodge in a child’s throat or cause damage to their digestive system.
The toy failed to comply with the Toys (Safety) Regulations 2011.
Border authorities intercepted and destroyed the shipment before it could reach consumers, and Amazon has taken down the product listing.
The A/C Power Adaptor for laptops carries a serious fire risk that prompted its recall.
Safety inspectors discovered the plug fuse lacked sufficient granular filler, and the plug face didn’t meet British Standard 1363 dimensional requirements.

Without a properly rated fuse, the plug could overheat or even explode during a fault, creating a genuine fire hazard in homes.
The product breached both the Electrical Equipment (Safety) Regulations 2016 and the Plugs & Sockets etc (Safety) Regulations 1994.
Like the other recalled items, border officials rejected the import before it reached shops, and Amazon has pulled the listing from its website.
