James Comer Hints at Who Might Be Next on the Epstein Investigation Witness List: Bill Gates – RedState

Times have been tough for Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates. As the old saying goes, money can’t buy you happiness, and even with an estimated net worth of $124 billion, he’s finding that out the hard way because of his old friendship with the late pedophile financier, Jeffrey Epstein.

Now that the FBI has finally released millions of pages of the Epstein files, his name comes up over and over again, as do photographs of him, Jeffrey, and Epstein’s convicted accomplice, Ghislaine Maxwell.

Gates’ ex-wife, Melinda Gates, said Tuesday that “they [Gates and others] need to answer to those things, not me.”

Now that House Oversight Chair James Comer (KY-01) has gotten Bill and Hillary Clinton to agree to testify — after a lot of nasty back and forth and a threat of holding them in contempt of Congress — Comer is hinting that he’d like to find out what Gates knows, too, after all his palling around with Epstein.

House Oversight and Government Reform Chair James Comer said Wednesday he is considering calling Bill Gates to testify in the committee’s ongoing Jeffrey Epstein investigation.

Lawmakers from both parties continue to press the billionaire Microsoft co-founder for information concerning Epstein.

“We’re certainly looking at that, so we’ll have more to come on that,” the Kentucky Republican said in an interview on Wednesday, according to Politico.

In a NewsNation interview, Comer reiterated that he’d “like to ask some questions” of the billionaire. (The clip also features Melinda Gates and her comments.) It’s a “pretty good bet” that Gates will be asked — or subpoenaed — to testify, Comer said:

The above tweet continues:

@RepNancyMace called for a subpoena following an interview of his ex-wife Melinda Gates urging her ex-husband to answer questions over allegations made against him in the new batch of Epstein files.

Dates Set for Clintons’ Epstein Testimony As They Cave to Comer’s Terms — but Will They Show Up?

The release of the files has not been kind to the tech mogul:

The newest tranche of files includes allegations that Gates contracted a sexually transmitted disease from women in Epstein’s orbit. A spokesperson for Gates has called the allegations absurd.

Gates has said he had several dinners with Epstein based on an understanding that Epstein would use his wealthy connections to fundraise for global health causes. When that didn’t happen, Gates told PBS NewsHour in 2021, he cut off the dinners, calling the meetings “a mistake.”

If these allegations are false, Bill Gates should have no problem saying so under oath before Congress.

Nobody is above the law. Not billionaires. Not the powerful. Nobody.

Between the Clintons’ testimony – assuming they don’t find a reason to be no-shows again — and possible testimony from Gates, things could get very interesting indeed.
