Watch the moment several US warplanes have crash to the ground in a “friendly fire incident”, the Kuwaiti government has confirmed.
Detailing the crashes on GB News, Home and Security Editor Mark White said: “The footage shows an F-15 coming down, and it was reported earlier that these were as a result of friendly fire.”
Reading out a statement from a Kuwait Ministry of Defence spokesman, Mark said: “Several US military aircraft crashed this morning, confirming the complete safety of their crews. The crews have ejected safely, thankfully. The relevant authorities immediately initiated search and rescue procedures, whereby the crews were evacuated and transferred to the hospital to check on their health status and provide the necessary medical care.
“The official spokesperson added that direct coordination was conducted with the friendly US forces regarding the circumstances of the incident, and joint technical measures were taken. He affirmed that the concerned authorities are following up on the investigations to determine the cause of the incident, calling for information to be obtained from its official sources.”
