British Students Mourn “Beloved” Ayatollah

That is the headline in the Telegraph. Ayatollah Khomenei was one of the world’s most evil men, but we are living in an upside down world:

Students at British universities have shared posts mourning the death of Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, the dictator of Iran.

More than a dozen student-led societies have expressed their “sincere condolences” to the so-called “beloved” Iranian supreme leader, with one even advertising a “candlelight vigil” in his memory.

Ahlul-Bayt Islamic societies (AbSocs), the student-led groups affiliated with the dominant Shia sect of Islam in Iran, are leading tributes.

AbSoc members at the University of Manchester plan to hold a candlelit vigil on Wednesday “honouring the Ayatollah”.

It goes on and on:

At the University of Cambridge, students affiliated with AbSoc shared a picture of Khamenei embracing a young girl with the caption: “This is the man who was killed by the leaders in the Epstein files.”

Actually, no, that’s the other guys. The ones who were content to leave the mullahs in power. The photo is completely unironic:

More:

Students at UCL posted a warning against the “policing of Muslim” grief on campuses, explaining: “Students are entitled both legally and morally to mourn, to speak, and to organise within the law.”

At the University of Edinburgh, students shared a black and white photo of the Ayatollah alongside the caption: “Condolences on the martyrdom of Ayatollah Sayyid Khaemenei.”

The University of Leeds AbSoc society also joined in the outpouring of grief, posting: “With deep sorrow and grief, I extend my heartfelt condolences to the noble people of Iran and to Muslims everywhere on the martyrdom of the supreme leader of Islamic Republic of Iran, his eminence Ayatollah Sayyid Ali Khamenei.”

Students at the University of Bristol shared a post with a photograph of the Ayatollah and the statement: “Before you die make sure to tell your children and future generations that you witnessed … when an 86-year-old man stood alone to defend Islam while all the so-called Islamic countries were drowning in luxury and silence.”

The Kingston University AbSoc society also posted a black and white image of a contemplative-looking Ayatollah and wrote in Arabic: “We announce the Sayed as a martyr.”

Students at the University of Portsmouth shared a post from an organisation called AbSoc Mental Health.

It states: “This is an unimaginable loss for the entire Ummah. This is not the end to resistance.”

Resistance to what?

There is more at the link, but you get the drift. What we are seeing, at a minimum, is a complete lack of interest in assimilation in the second generation. I can’t for the life of me understand why anyone thought it was a good idea to tolerate–even to encourage!–the Islamic invasion of Western Europe.
