Abu Dhabi’s authorities are responding to a fire at the Ruwais Industrial Complex after a drone attack. Officials said the blaze broke out at one of the facilities within the major industrial site following the strike. Emergency services were deployed to the scene and are working to contain the fire and secure the surrounding area.
Authorities confirmed that no injuries have been recorded so far as emergency teams continue to deal with the incident. In a statement, officials said: “The competent authorities in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi are dealing with a fire that broke out in one of the facilities within the Ruwais Industrial Complex, resulting from a drone attack, with no injuries recorded so far.” They also urged the public to rely only on verified information while the situation develops. The statement added: “The competent authorities have urged the public to obtain information from official sources only, and to avoid circulating rumors or unverified information.”
