Jake Paul was publicly endorsed by President Donald Trump after the boxer was brought onto the stage during a rally in Kentucky on Wednesday evening.
Speaking at Verst Logistics in Hebron, the President spotted Paul among attendees before beckoning him forward to address the crowd.
President Trump said: “I’m going to make a prediction that you will be, in the not too distant future, running for political office.”
After cheers from his supporters, the President went further, telling Mr Paul: “And you have my complete and total endorsement.”
Mr Paul was born and raised in neighbouring Ohio.
The rally also featured an impromptu dance between the pair that quickly captured attention online.
Footage shared by Paul’s promotional company, Most Valuable Promotions, showed the president and the boxer dancing in Donald Trump’s iconic YMCA dance and exchanging grins before shaking hands.
The clip was posted with the caption: “Jake Paul & President Trump might have just broken the internet with this one…god bless America.”

When given the microphone, Mr Paul delivered a speech expressing gratitude to the president for instilling bravery in him.
The boxer told the audience: “What Mr Trump has taught me is courage. You know, we never back down from a fight, even if they’re much bigger than you, much, much bigger than you.”

The influencer referenced his roots in the region, noting he had grown up just hours from the venue.
Paul said: “My dad taught me to fight and all of our voices matter in America, and I’m never afraid to speak the truth.”
He called for more manufacturing facilities across the nation, expressing confidence that the US President would deliver on this ambition.
Mr Trump described Paul as “a great guy, he’s a courageous guy and a talented guy. A hell of a fighter too, by the way”.

The President highlighted Paul’s substantial online following, remarking that the boxer had previously invited him to appear on his podcast.
Trump said: “His podcast is big stuff and he’s big stuff. This guy has guts.”
During his remarks, Trump also quipped about Paul’s voting preferences in the 2024 election.
The President said: “I didn’t ask Jake who he voted for, but I don’t think it was Kamala,” adding that admitting otherwise “would be the end of your whole career, Jake.”
