As we reported, President Donald Trump called out European countries that rejected his request for ships to help out in a coalition to escort tankers through the Strait of Hormuz.

It was a much-deserved mic drop scolding. How many times have we saved Europe’s bacon? How many decades have we provided them protection from Russia, only to have them not pay their fair share until Trump forced them to do it?
Yet they can’t even be bothered to provide us help now, to protect their own interests. Here’s Germany’s Boris Pistorious saying they didn’t start the war.

So much for such an “ally.” These are the same folks who think it was our obligation to pour out billions to Ukraine’s defense, which wasn’t even a NATO country, while they still pussy footed around buying Russian oil. The logic is insane.
But they didn’t have to wait long to find out that yes, it is their battle, whether they want to accept it or not. Because then a drone hit the Royal Tulip Al-Rasheed Hotel in Baghdad in the International Zone on Monday. That’s the site of the European Union Advisory Mission in Iraq, and other diplomatic facilities, including the Saudi Embassy.
Iraq’s interior ministry condemned any effort to target diplomatic personnel. Fortunately, there were no injuries.
Around the same time, there was an explosion also reported near the United States Embassy. You can see a drone/rocket being taken out here by a C-RAM (counter-rocket, artillery, and mortar).

There’s a karmic lesson there for the Europeans to learn, if they had sense. If you act cowardly, people will think they can run right over you, and it will come back to bite you.
Will they learn that lesson? We shall see.
