Patrick Christys left flabbergasted after Leeds butcher reveals real impact of Labour’s tax hikes

Watch the moment Patrick Christys was left flabbergasted after a butcher from Leeds revealed the reality of Labour’s new tax regulations on businesses up and down the nation.

Reporting from the northern city, close to Rachel Reeves’s own constituency of Leeds West and Pudsey, the GB News star was shocked by John Johnson, who owns the locally-loved J P Johnston’s Butchers, after he revealed the number of times he had to pay his taxes every year has shot up.

He told Patrick: “They’re bringing in new tax rules. So that means now every year I’ve got to do my books five times a year instead of one.”

As a result, the butcher has to fork out extra funds for an accountant five times a year, adding: “Then you’ve got all the other costs as well. Electrics going up, rent, everything else.”

Reporting live from the city’s Kirkgate Market, Patrick is spending the day in and around Leeds, speaking to local businesses and local grifters, looking to uncover the real impact of Labour’s tax changes on GB News.
