I love Trump’s idea of having ICE agents fill in for no-show TSA agents at airports.
I don’t blame TSA people, they aren’t getting paid, so many are not showing up to work or even quitting outright.
So have ICE show up and be on the lookout for any illegal aliens looking to fly the suddenly unfriendly skies. From CNBC,
Trump threatens to deploy ICE agents to airports if DHS shutdown doesn’t end, while Elon Musk offers to cover TSA agents’ pay.
Senate Democrats are busy with inexplicable floor maneuvers, or stand alone bills to just pay TSA salaries. (What do they have against the Coast Guard, or FEMA?)
Ted Cruz is offering an idea to split off ICE from DHS. (ICE is already funded for the next few years).
No end in sight.
