Iran war LIVE: Trump’s 48 hour Strait of Hormuz warning – 3 European cities ‘in danger’ | World | News

US President Donald Trump threatened to “obliterate” Iran’s power grid if they do not reopen the Strait of Hormuz within 48 hours.

In a furious Truth Social post on Wednesday, the US President said: “If Iran doesn’t FULLY OPEN, WITHOUT THREAT, the Strait of Hormuz, within 48 HOURS from this exact point in time, the United States of America will hit and obliterate their various POWER PLANTS, STARTING WITH THE BIGGEST ONE FIRST.”

His warning comes as Israel claims Iran could strike as far as London, Paris, and Berlin.

Iran launched attacks on the UK’s Diego Garcia base in the Chagos Islands, showing that Tehran’s forces can aim at targets much further than previously thought. I

ran’s representative to the International Maritime Organization, Ali Mousavi, has said vessels – except those belonging to what he described as “enemies” – may pass through the Strait of Hormuz if they coordinate in advance with Iranian authorities to ensure safety and security.
